Computer Science Education

Most of my computer science education stems from my time in my Instructional Technology for Educators class, which I took at Auburn University in the spring semester of 2019. While in this class I learned a great deal about Ozobot and Blue-bot. Both of these are coding robots that allow students to create codes and figure out how coding works. I plan to incorporate Blue-bot into my classroom, as it is aimed towards younger ages than the Ozobot is. By using Blue-Bot, my students will learn the concept of coding and the importance it holds in everyday life as well as the fun it may entail. One use I specifically plan to implement in my classroom with Blue-bot is a coin map where Blue-bot will start in one corner and I will give my students a money math problem and upon finding the answer they must code Blue-bot to travel to the correct answer. There are so many more ways to use Blue-bot (and Ozobot for older students) and I am she excited to use my computer science education to include these things into my future classroom.
